The InstaRAID IR12TB is an innovative internal RAID subsystem supporting two 2.5-Inch hard drive into a 3.5-Inch hard drive physical dimension. Build-in two of the 2.5-Inch hard drive trays and RAID status LED, the unit is selectable from RAID 1 (mirroring) to RAID 0 (striping) with the selectable switch. With same footprint as regular 3.5-Inch hard drive, with the same screw location, power and data connector, IR12TB supports stripping and mirroring using the hardware RAID engine, providing an ideal solutions for internal RAID solutions that limited in space.
